"Wir sind jetzt ein richtig gutes Team" - Kennenlerntage in der Rhön.

Kleinsassen orientation days from September 9th to 11th.

Our students from class 5b report:

Emma B:

Introductory trip to Kleinsassen

When we arrived, the team leaders showed us to our rooms. The rooms were really nice. I was in a room with two bunk beds and a regular bed. Later, we went for a walk, which was lovely. Lunch was delicious, and then we played games. That was fun. After dinner, we went to the chapel, which was beautiful. After the chapel, we went to sleep. Breakfast was very tasty. Afterward, we did something with the team leaders, which was cool. After lunch, we went hiking. That was cool. We hiked for three hours. Afterward, we played games and did something with the team leaders. After dinner, we went to sleep. On the third day, breakfast was also very tasty, and after breakfast, we went to play games. Then we packed our suitcases.

We went to pack. After a delicious lunch, the bus arrived. We loaded the suitcases and then drove back.

Anna:

My class trip…

…was really wonderful. On the first day, when we arrived, we all made our beds and laughed so much; that was a real highlight. After that, we had lunch: lasagna. Some people didn't think it was very tasty, but I really enjoyed it. Everyone has their own opinion, I guess. After lunch, we went for a little walk, and everyone showed us around. Then we had a short break to play, which was also really cool. In the evening, we had dinner again, and afterward, we were allowed to play some more. Lights out was at 10:00 p.m. But lights out doesn't necessarily mean sleep. We goofed around and laughed a bit more in our room. It was simply a really, really lovely evening.

My introductory trip to Kleinsassen

It takes 1 hour and 15 minutes by bus from the school to the youth hostel. There's a garden with a slide right in front of the building.

When you enter, there's a shoe rack. Then there are two hallways where the rooms are. There's a playroom in the basement and a chapel upstairs. We also went on a long hike; we hiked up a mountain. Lunch is good. And there's a great view.

The rooms consist of 4 to 8 beds and a sink with 4 hooks. Each room has 2 to 3 electrical outlets and a window. You can also play lots of games there, like hide-and-seek. I thought the class trip was great, and everything that happened was wonderful.

Introductory trip to Kleinsassen:

I really have to say that the food was very delicious, and I'm actually very picky.

The rooms were very small, but also very nice. We stayed in the hillside building, so I don't know exactly what the other rooms looked like. Outside the window was a really lovely lawn with a volleyball court.

As I said, we went on a get-to-know-you trip, and we were there to get to know each other better.

The team leaders and the two teachers who were there were very nice. If you also come to the school and then go on the introductory trip to Kleinsassen, then record yourselves with them.

Definitely bring hiking boots. We had sessions every day where you could learn a lot.

Unfortunately, the Kenniem tour is already over.

We are now a really good team and we all had a lot of fun.

The school is delighted that the trip to Kleinsassen is a regular part of the school excursions. The students are always thrilled! Many thanks to Ms. Kemmerer and Ms. Freudl, as well as the accompanying teachers, Ms. Mohler and Ms. Kranz.
